The Haircut…

Over 6 inches of my hair feel to the ground a few weeks ago. It was time to let it go. I know when I pull my hair in a pony tail every day, it’s time to reconsider my hair-do. I am going for virgin hair too, so no more coloring for this chica! No one has cut my hair, besides my sister, Annika, for over 15 years! I know, I am a brat when it comes to my hair. (Wait, I take that back. A stylist in Russia cut my hair once, and it was disastrous.) I just didn’t realize how spoiled I was to have a very talented hair dresser in the family, until I didn’t have access to her haircutting skills. I took her for granted! Everyone in our family is spoiled to sit at her feet, and let her hands work magic.

I second everything you’ve said about Annika… we are so spoiled!

I have only had my hair cut by another stylist once and it was horrible. Other than that, it’s been Mom, Dad and Annika all the way!

I sat at her feet last night …. such a wonderful gift.

Annika is a true artist. She cut her own hair when she was 5 years old (she’s much better at it now …. )

Looks like you got a lot of hairs cut. It is adorable! And I think we all have had a horrible hair cut in our life. Mine was at 12 years old and I cried so hard.

I am highly considering chopping off the front and going for bangs. I am not sure it this is a brilliant idea, or horrible one.

Loves it!!! I am with you on the ponytail thing. I am not even allowed to let my hair get long enough for a ponytail because I will never do it.

Tell me about it- I only see Annika like twice a year! It’s a killer. I won’t let anyone else cut it!
