That’s right, Rick and I board our plane tomorrow afternoon. This vacation has been long anticipated. I am just besides my self with excitement. I think the idea of not working for 2 weeks is what I am most thrilled about. However, seeing so many members of both families is something I am also looking forward to. It’s been too long, especially for Rick. I am excited to tuck my toes into the sand, hear the ocean waves and hold my new niece. The weather has been crummy around these parts as of late; lots of rain. There has been so much pollen in the air, too. It’s so intense, I have been wiping off a very think layer of yellow “dust” from every single piece of furniture in every single home I clean, these past two weeks. I have never seen such a thing.

On Wednesday night, after Rick and I were in bed and the lights were out, he leaned over and whispered in my ear, “Happy Found-her’s day, Babe!” Wow, that’s right! One year has passed since I met Rick, that Monday night, at his parents house. I remember it as if it were yesterday!
wow, what a guy to remember a found-her’s day! that’s very very cute. it’s hard for some dude’s to remember their anniversary. you’ve got a keeper!
Aw, no Utah visit. Wah! It’s been a while Bill. We miss you out this way…
I know that you and Rick haven’t been married for a full year, but I kind of can’t remember what he was like before you two got married. Weird. I’m glad that he remembered! How romantic!
We sure are going to miss you guys. Clayton is beside himself staring at the Jetta…you may find him holed up in the trunk when you get back!
That is just cute!
Enjoy the time in CA, I suppose, so not UT, ah? uhm…is way too hot there right now, have heard, but I would love to go there, nevertheless then leave ,though. Oh yes, unique place…
Rick is truly a keeper as your other fam. and friends said here in their comments. Forgive the lack of better words, but plain and simple, it pierced my heart to read your last sentence. Guess I wish for the same type of great guy someday! In the meantime, am happy to be! and go where I wanna go..aha, not Utah but close bye:) soon! Hope!
Love ya!
Enjoy your trip!
You mean you’re not coming out to visit me in New Mexico?!? Well, maybe I TOTALLY understand so I won’t take it personal! Have a fun trip!!! I wouldn’t mind a beach at this point either! Good Choice!
I want to be part of your blog HMM!
Vanessa!
I swear you gave me this link a long time ago, but I lost it and now I have found it (perusing Tara’s blog). I rarely visit the actual blog since I have reader, but it was fun to find YOU! Congrats again on the wedding and also congrats to being a new englander. I will join this club in a few weeks since my husband and I are moving to NYC for his dental school (sadly, it is the beginning of dental school so we have a long road ahead of us). Anyway…so excited to stay up to date with you now! Good luck and enjoy your vaca! Visit our blog for updates if you like http://www.schofam.blogspot.com.
