HOLY DODGE NEON…
Last night, around 9:35, Rick and I were standing between two parked cars, near the waterfront of Lake Champlain, at the end of a dead end road.
We were waiting for fireworks to start.
We stood and waited for 10 minutes, peering between a very large tree and a building, hopeful to see an explosion in the sky any minute. Finally, they started!
As soon an the explosives lit up the sky, we then started to hear two young boys expressing their excitement through their very expressive commentary:
“Holy HOT DOG!” They yelled!
Another firework lit up the sky,
“HOLY DOUBLE HAM CHEESEBURGER!”
And with each explosion, the comments got more and more random!
“HOLY KETCHUP AND MUSTARD…AND RANCH!”
“HOLY TUNA SANDWICH”
“HOLY HONDA CIVIC”
“HOLY DODGE NEON”
I looked at Rick, “Did he just say, ‘Dodge Neon!?”
“HOLY BOSTON RED SOX!”
“HOLY NEW YORK YANKEES…”
Then he says to his buddy, “I know my baseball!!!”
“HOLY VERMONT LAKE MONSTERS” (that’s the local minor league team)
This went on for 25 minutes.
Their dad kept telling them,
“Boys, calm down!”
Here’s wishing you a very Happy Independance Day!

LOLOLOL!
