Music to my ears!

My friend, Ariane (Mother of daring Josie) send me this email a few hours ago.  She’s in Las Vegas for a month, visiting her family.

"On Sunday for dessert, the boys helped my mom make a strawberry trifle. 

It had strawberries, vanilla pudding, and angel food cake in it (yum). 

 So they helped her make it and put it in the fridge that my parents have outside. 

Anyway, after church, Clayton made a beeline for the fridge and opened it and began to stick his hand in it to eat it. 

I caught him before he actually accomplished this and told him to knock it off - we weren't eating it yet.  Then he gave me this little gem: 

"If Vanessa were here, she'd let me eat it!" I seriously about died!!!!

So I say, "Why would Vanessa let you eat it?"

He says, "Because she always wants me to eat healthy fruit and strawberries are very healthy.  She'd want to give it to me."

I laugh every time I think about that.  Stinker.

Ariane, that’s the best thing I have heard all week!!  Possibly ALL MONTH!
